How pricing works
At Lebon Déménagement, pricing is simple and transparent: service is billed by the hour, based on the number of movers and trucks your move requires.
Hourly service
- Working time starts when the crew arrives at your home and ends when the work is completed.
- Travel time is added to working time.
- A minimum of 3 working hours applies to every job.
- The hourly rate depends on the number of movers, the number of trucks and the period (season, weekend, high-demand dates).
What affects the price
- The size of the home and the amount of belongings to move
- Access: stairs, elevator, truck-to-door distance, parking
- The distance between addresses (and fuel for long distances)
- Heavy or special items — a weight-based surcharge may apply
- Added services: packing, materials, specialist disassembly, extra stops
- The period: weekends, month ends and summer are in higher demand
Possible surcharges
Surcharges are always shown in your quote before you confirm. The most common ones:
- Packing materials: boxes, mattress or sofa bags, wrap, TV and wardrobe boxes
- Very heavy items (above roughly 225 lb), disclosed in advance
- Waiting time (billed hourly) if access isn't ready
- Disassembly or reassembly requiring a specialist
Estimate, quote and invoice: the difference
Preliminary estimate
Calculated online from your answers. It's an order of magnitude, not a commitment.
Final quote
Prepared and reviewed by our team, with the recommended crew, expected duration and confirmed rates.
Final invoice
Based on the time actually worked and the services actually used, at the rates in your quote.
The deposit
A deposit may be required to reserve a date. The amount and applicable conditions are shown in your final quote.
Because service is billed hourly, the final price may vary based on actual working time, access, inventory, distance and added services. Complete information in your quote = a more accurate estimate.
